Handbags and Wallets Inspired by Greek Architecture

From the old city of Athens, through the vibrant nightlife, hair flowing in the wind on stormy shores of late winter, the picturesque islands and the misty mountains, inspiration was everywhere. Through my camera lens I collected landscapes, buildings, textiles, elements such as gate bars, mailboxes and door handles. 

I've deconstructed these images and reassembled them into fresh, original prints,  that in turn would return to the world as hand screen printed women's handbags, backpacks and wallets.

Elegant bags inspired by Athens

My Arches print was inspired by the new Athens architecture, with touches of the Old City. The result is reminiscent of Art Deco with its refined lines. The Arches print adorns the Dulce Bags, elegant evening bags with a fun festive touch, ready to go out to a bar in the Gazi district, or to a restaurant on the terrace in the heart of Plaka, the old neighborhood beneath the Acropolis. You can also find the minimal print on our Everything Crossbody and Clutch, that arrives with an adjustable shoulder strap that can be removed, turning it from a day bag into an evening clutch.

Modern bags inspired by Crete

My abstract Crete design was inspired by fluttering curtains in the windows of the houses of the town of Chania, an ancient Venetian port city in Crete. The old part of the town lies among its narrow alleys cafes, bars and restaurants, artists' studios and shops, all in a rich history envelope. The picturesque town inspired the print that adorns the Minimal Wallet, a compact yet full of presence object, and of course, the Metropolitan Backpacks, women's bags for all your everyday work and errands, and the Box Crossbody Bag, that will be perfect for a quick stop at the cafe on the harbor boardwalk, of course.
